SUBMISSIONS FOR
February 2016 – THE LOVE ISSUE
DUE January 15, 2016 AT NOON
Every issue of Walk Write Up has a theme. Sometimes these themes are chosen on a whim and other times they are topical. We encourage authors not to write to theme but instead to use the theme as a jumping off point. Feel free to submit anything! Really. We like to think of our themes as incredibly loose. That being said, there are times when we will reject a piece because it does not fit the theme. However, if we like the piece we may ask if we can keep it for potential use in future issues. We will let you know if and when we end up using the piece if that is the case. There are many facets to the editing process of which theme is but one. We would much rather see your strongest work regardless of theme than have you feel constricted by it.
PLEASE KEEP ALL SUBMISSIONS 1-2 PAGES MAXIMUM.
Please send all submissions to walkwriteup@gmail.com.
UPCOMING THEMES:
STAY TUNED FOR UPCOMING THEMES FOR VOLUME 3 – 2016.

How much do you pay for submissions?
Hello! Unfortunately we cannot afford to pay our artists at this time. We are completely donation based and all funds raised go towards printing and sending out our free zine! Thanks for checking in.

Yo! Are you still up and running? Is there life after Love?
Hi Karen! Sorry for the extremely delayed response. Unfortunately, we don’t have a plan to publish any new zines coming up. We will certainly let you know if that changes. Thank you for reaching out!
